Casale

When driving through the main gate of UNDER THE APULIAN SKY you are immediately aware of the enchanted surroundings.  Whilst the property has been completely restored, many original features have been retained, such as the stone hooks on the outside of the LAMIA where the horses were originally tied up.  Once you park your car in the private car park, you make your way along a pathway of white chianche, a stone local to the area, flanked by dry-stone walls.  The area immediately surrounding the LAMIA is softened by grass areas and garden beds.

The main entrance of the LAMIA opens directly to the lounge.  The lounge, like all the rooms of the house has been furnished in a modern style, with elegant and clean lines.  The colours of the furniture pick up the green hues of the chianche.  There is a large sofa, which if required, opens to a double sofa bed, an armchair, flat screen smart television and DVD/blu ray player. The lounge is the centre of the LAMIA, in that it leads to an opening to one side, where you find a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, powder room and laundry. The kitchen/dining opens out onto an outdoor dining area.

To the other side of the lounge, you walk through a passageway that leads to a main bathroom and two bedrooms.  Each bedroom contains a large double bed and wardrobe.
